The Decklist Out updated!

Hello everyone!

Today, I finally got the time to update the whole The Decklist Out! The most important part is of course the new decks and “the hottest decks now” lists but I also updated most of the old decks with the current sets’ cards. I haven’t had the time to code the links to the respectful articles of those decks. However, I’ll update the links as soon as I have time and I’ll start making the entries of the Darkrai decks as requested.

Anyways, my entrance exams will be next Tuesday and I’ll be fully concentrating on them from this moment on so there will be no entry on Monday. However, after my exams are over, I’ll continue doing 2 entries per week. I guess I’ll keep some time off from my blog before Worlds (2 weeks or so) so I have time to test properly and have great time in Hawaii. After that it’s a whole new season, format and lots and lots of things to analyze! I hope I can keep up with my blog after August as well when I (hopefully) start my semester in my new university. It’ll be busy for me but I’ll try to make it work.

I hope you enjoy the new update of The Decklist Out and that it’s useful for you and other players as well in testing for Nationals! If you have any comments, questions or requests about my blog and it’s future, feel free to tell me in the comments, Facebook, Twitter or e-mail. Also, let me know if there is any typos in the decklists of The Decklist Out.

Once again, thanks for reading my blog and here is the updated version of The Decklist Out. You can find it also from the Pages part of the blog.

The Decklist Out

Since I release 2 updates a week; the older updates are easily forgotten and lost into my blog. That’s why I decided to make another page - The Decklist Out – where you can find every deck list – metagame or rogue – which I have introduced in my blog. What’s even better, The Decklist Out will also include the decks I haven’t yet introduced in my blog. This way The Decklist Out is your number one source for the metagame decklists!

I’ll also put a link to my article of the deck before the decklist. You can go to the article of the deck by clicking the name of the deck in the header. To keep things even more interesting, I’ll make updates to these lists along the way because new set will be released and new ways to play these decks are found. I will report every time I’ll make an update to the deck lists, so be sure to like The Deck Out on the
Facebook and follow me on Twitter.

I hope you find this useful and that you’ll link this site for your friends and new players as well because I’m pretty sure there is no other site, where you can find all the metagame decks and their well-built lists with explanations of how-to-play them.

Remember, I’ll be adding new decks along the way so the The Decklist Out will develop during time to bigger and bigger library of all metagame decks. If you feel like there is something to develop in The Decklist Out or if you have any questions regarding the lists in the Decklist out, feel free to comment on my blog or e-mail me to: thedeckout@gmail.com

1 Metagame decks

In the metagame decks section you can found every deck that is considered as metagame, which I’ve written about. Metagame means decks that are widely known and played and have done fairly well at the tournaments. The metagame decks section has 3 different sections:

- The hottest decks now! has the lists of the decks that are considered as the best decks in the current format.

- Metagame decks section has the lists of the rest of the decks that are currently considered as metagame and are viable for tournaments.

- Ex-metagame decks section includes decks that once were metagame but are now rotated out of the format.

1.1. The hottest decks now!

The hottest decks now section covers the decks that are the most played currently and have succeeded the best in the current format. This list will update every time when the dominating decks will change and this section will be the most important for competitive players so be sure to keep an eye on this section!

  1. It'd be cool to see exactly which decks you updated with newer sets, maybe by putting a (*) next to them or something.

  2. ^ Good idea.

Best of luck on your exams Esa! Do your best!

  3. CruelBear: A very good idea! I'll do it as soon as I have time.

    forthefuturety: Thanks a lot!

  4. Also, an Empoleon decklist would be cool. Or I could make or find one for you if you want. You could also throw in that Typhlosion Decklist that was in your "Ask Esa" article.

  5. All the best getting into university, its a whole new experience.

Would hope to see Empoleon make the page, too. And perhaps some quad decks which have taken some BRs this few weeks. :)

  6. Also, the Quad Entei list has 61 cards. :P
