The Decklist Out updated for Cities!

Tornadonk failed me.
Hello everyone!

I finally had time to put all of these lists together as I've been testing pretty intensely the past few weeks. As always, let me know of any calculations errors/typos or anything else in The Decklist Out. The Decklist Out is meant completely for you, so I want it to be as smooth to read as possible. Also, if you feel like there is any list missing from the list, let me know and I'll consider if I'll add it!

Also, for those who didn't know yet, I'm going to visit Tokyo in early January and will hopefully be able to visit local league(s) there and discuss with some people and watch Japanese players play games. I'll try to take lots of pictures as well!

To keep yourself up-to-date about my tournament season and my Japan's trip, remember to follow me on
Twitter and Facebook!

Enjoy the lists and feel free to use them as you wish!

  1. Should you play stadiums (x1) in hammertime so extra damage for tornadus? (from Samuel Mowery age 9 TX, USA)

    ReplyDelete
  2. In Terrakion EX/Mewtwo EX/Bouffalant
    is Terrakion or Terakion EX???

    ReplyDelete
  3. Samuel: I think playing 1 Stadium is not prudent in Hammertime, because your opponent will probably play a stadium AND getting the one Stadium at the certain situation, where you need it, is pretty difficult. So, I would suggest not to play any Stadiums in Hammertime.

Anonymous: Nice catch! It's Terrakion not Terrakion EX.

    1. I have included 1 stadium in my hammer build (skyarrow Bridge) as a Aspierta City Gym counter/ Tropical beach counter, and sometimes in can help switch out my sableye for free.

  4. Is there a Garchomp Landorous deck that you put on here? Garchomp is my favorite pokemon so I want a deck for it.

    Thanks,

    Noah

  5. Anonymous: Hmm, I haven't tested Landorus EX/Garchomp that much, but I'll test it this weekend and put a list for it if it succeeds in my testing and in the CCs of the weekend. Thanks for the suggestion!

  6. hello!

how come you haven't got your TornadoDonk list on here? They are seeming pretty big at cities, I'm very intrigued to see what your list looks like Esa!

Also is there anymore news from japan about the plasma gale set?

Cobalion EX/ Klinklang deck concept seems interesting... is it being successful? Is it even seein play??

  7. How come theres not gym/stadium for the Landorus EX/Mewtwo EX/Tech deck?

  8. Hey, I'm extremely new to the game, so this is really helpful, so thanks!

Also, I really like the looks of the Klinklang deck, but wouldn't it be better to use Blastoise over Klinklang so you can spam Prisms and Blends (using Water instead of Steel)? Looking at purchasing a bunch of cards, but I don't want to drop $150-$250 on an untested deck.

    1. I just realized that Deluge probably doesn't work with special energies. Didn't realize they only counted as multiple while in play. Disregard.

...told you I was new. ;)

  9. can someone explain why the Landorus EX/Mewtwo EX/Tech deck does not play any field cards?

  10. Minor thing: The Darkrai EX/Hydreigon build has 15 Pokémon and 33 Trainers, not 14 Pokémon and 34 Trainers.

  11. how come only two decks play skyla?
couldnt it be used in more?
