Hey everyone!
It’s exciting news. Pokémon Company International finally released the prize support for Worlds 2012 and to everyone’s surprise, they were changed! I’m more than excited about Worlds now since it seems that PCI wants Worlds to be THE tournament of every season. I think Worlds deserve to be the highlight of Pokemon TCG season and these changes to prize support makes Worlds THE tournament to win.
If I wasn’t already excited about Worlds, now I am! I’ve copypasted the prize support from Worlds’ site, so here they are. And remember, these prizes apply to each age group.

This definitely makes worlds exciting, as if it wasn't exciting already. Do you know where worlds will be in 2013?
ReplyDelete2013 Worlds will probably be in San Diego.
DeleteFactory sealed FULL SETS? That's new. I've only seen them in yugioh and Magic: The Gathering. I like it. :3
ReplyDeletei've narrowed down my top 4 predictions:
ReplyDelete1. Esa
2. Jak (baby_mario)
3. Oliver (lucarioAdventure1)
4. Jay Hornung
Hahahahaha
DeleteI should screenshot that as it's the only time anyone is going to predict me finishing above Jay.
Thanks darkwing but . . . don't put any money on that happening.
~bm
you never know...
DeleteI have nothing against baby_mario, but I just have to root for Jay on this one. I mean, he's from Madrid...
DeleteHey, don't count ZapdosTCg out.
DeleteSo absolutely no difference between top 32 and top 16 is a good thing?
ReplyDeleteall looks great but no DS?
ReplyDeleteCan anyone tell me what the scholarship money is for? Is it for university? What about people who are over 25 or have a degree?
ReplyDeleteThe scholarship is transferrable, so you can give it to a family member if you wish.
DeleteAhh thanks!
Deletegoing next year no matta what it takes. That scholarship money sounds sooooo worth the investment
ReplyDeleteWow... I really want Spain to have OP. I'm definitely more interested in going to Worlds than I ever was before.
ReplyDeleteWow, amazing prizes!! I'm with you Youngster, I wish next year we'll have OP!

DeleteNice prizes:) But in my opinion the prizes are not the most important factor at Worlds:)
ReplyDelete2013 worlds is in flordia they annoced it at american nats..according the people who i knew went
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't bet my bottom dollar on that, they haven't announced it anywhere yet.
Deleteno they didn't. i was there.
Deletethey always announce worlds(location, next year) at worlds.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure that the prizes will include DS just like they do every year. PCI is just too laz updating the prize breakdown every year. Don't know why though.
ReplyDeleteThere are always a lot of rumours about Worlds location, but nothing is official before they announce them in the Worlds this year. I would love if the Worlds to be in the east cost (just like all Europeans would), but the fact is that the west coast is favoured by Japanese players and the opinion of Japanese weight more than the opinion of Europeans.
Sooooo excited! Only 4 weeks to go!!!
Does anyone know what these factory sealed sets look like?r
