  1. Only decent ones are design 5 and 15. All the others look like they were made using paint haha.

    1. You could make those with paint as well! Nothing wrong with that if you can use it properly!

  2. I like 8, 13 and 15, but can't decide!!!

    ReplyDelete
  3. 13 is maybe the only one who deserves a vote.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I like numbers 6, 8 and 14. Number 6 looks good when you think about blogs name

    ReplyDelete
  5. 13 the most attractive and amusing!

    ReplyDelete
  6. 8 is obviously the best. I had a hard choice between 8 and 6 but I find 8 better in the end. Don't know what people see in 13 though (not to offend the artist), but it looks like something I would see on a kindergarten wall. But w/e it will be what it will.

  7. I think 9 is best.

  8. 9 is completely stolen - http://assets10.pokemon.com/assets/cms/img/ex_feature/bw8-plasma-storm/wallpapers/TCG_1024x768.jpg

  9. How can someone vote for 13, it's weird/complex and awful.
8 for me, it's simple and the person put his/her mind in order to came up with that idea and it's very good made.

    Congratulations to that person.

  10. 13 is the obvious choice. It has so many more pokemons!

  11. A lot of them are awful, but with that said, 5, 8, 13, and 15 are the best, with 8 and 13 probably being the best of the bunch. 13 would be even better if the whole thing were little adorable Pokemon icons and energy symbols throughout the whole mat instead of those weird spots that have place holders for prizes, deck and discard. In the end though I still voted for 13 since it appealed to me more.

  12. 13 looks pretty cool. I mean it would look great when you play with it- because of all that color

  14. Design 6 is actually pretty neat. Looks the cleanest out of all the entries, has no copyright issues, and cleverly personifies "The Deck Out." I like it.

    ReplyDelete
  15. There does not appear to be an option to vote for 17. Is that intentional?

    1. No. Its being fixed now I believe.

  16. I think that 13 looks pretty boss!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I prefer 9 and 13

    ReplyDelete
  18. Isn't there issue with copy write infringement when using pokemon art?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Great to see that there are people paying attention to copyright things! THe Infernape art is off limits, because it's so close to the Plasm Storm one. Props to the person, who noticed that!

Also, there are 2 new designs and since Blogger doesn't let me to change the poll system after someone has voted, comment if you like them and I'll put them to consideration! However, if Poké Ball really is an copyright infringement, then most of the designs are unviable. However, I'll make the decision about copyright things with the dsitributor of the playmats, so you don't have to worry about them!

    1. Using the official art for the PokeBall would be infringement.

  20. Seriously, number 8 is the one that really represents this page, the other guy is right, it's simple but brilliant, and when I hear the deck out N is the first character that comes to my mind.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I love 12 it's so mind blowing yet simple, I like it! 18 is also pretty good

    ReplyDelete
  22. Design 18 is by far the most personal desgin and well made. I´d buy it.
13 is the worst of the good ones. To crowded.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Vote Design 18, also Design 8. Design 13 is not good.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I also really enjoy 18.

    ReplyDelete
  25. 8 and 14 are the best. Matbe 18. Some of the others are a little too "busy" and distract your eyes from the cards

    ReplyDelete
  26. Voting for 5 for creativity and 12 for nice and simple. Both are the awesome entries. 1/13 are kinda like what others mentioned, distracting and kinda kid ish

    ReplyDelete
  27. 3,10,11,17 are kinda unprofessional looking, look like done via paint (sorry if I offended the artists)

1,13 are kinda child/kindergarten art and hence don't really fit to the deck out professionalism (sorry too if I offended the artists)

I think the poke ball might be copyrighted so best to avoid using it? Just a suggestion

I think 5 is well done, it look professional enough.

Another vote of mine will goes to 12. It's simple and nice and truly fit to the current era, the black & white era!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Wondering why people like 8? Cause its N? This game is not about N so I don't think it's nice. But the artist is good to make it as a shadow of N for it. Maybe a combine of N with the "TheDeckOut" text of 12 will make it as a masterpiece? Haha

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hope the admin of TheDeckOut don't really follow the votes. Cause if 13 is the chosen vote, I've no comment. And the 2 with N, are also like what the above comment, this game is not about N. I go with 12 cause this game is about its current era/meta which is black and white and it totally fit the theme and when it's on a playmat, its clear and big and nice. Can imagine it on a playmat and the camera on it if the admin is to use it for filming play test! Number 5 seems professionally done too but I generally vote for 12 and my 2nd (if any) goes to 5 cause 5 is for long run, even in the next era/meta, X&Y! :) hope the admin reads our comments instead of just seeing the votes?

    ReplyDelete
  30. 8, 13, 13bis, 14 and 15 are pretty, it's hard to choice. I would go for 8.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I like 11 its great

    ReplyDelete
  32. People are correct THE GAME isnt about N, but N has been the "symbol" of both Esa and thedeckout.com since ive been following the blog. So i think to adequately represent both the deckout.com and Esa himself a design related to N should be chosen. Therefore my vote goes to number 8 the subtleness of the design and colouring is perfect and not "in your face" like some others.

    ReplyDelete
  33. The 8 with white words would be better, anyway i liked it (:

    ReplyDelete
  34. Due to the recent changes, design 18 is the one who deserves to win right now.

    ReplyDelete
  35. It's true that Esa is represented by N and so is the TheDeckOut but he did asked us to look at the reference too from TopCut and look at it and there's any character base and its kinda professionally done. One that loon similar to it will be design 12. It's simple and professionally done and is nice. But we can say all about these, end of the day, the one that will choose the playmat design will still be Esa himself.

But Esa, please do not choose 1/13 or the other paint design.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Woah so cool, Design 5 actually helps promote TheDeckOut via all methods! It's super cool and professionally done. Well done to the artist.

I personally choose 12 cause its simple and same, is professionally done.

I agreed with the comment above, N could be what represent Esa or TheDeckOut, but it is him who also said to check out TopCut as a reference and I think 12 fit the theme. It's original and yet kinda follow the TopCut's professionalism on its playmat design.

I believe a playmat can't be done anyhow especially the text used. True that the N fits Esa but the text, TheDeckOut isn't. It's kind of seem to me that its done via Paint. Sorry if I offended the designer

Of course some others I didnt like are Those that's obviously done via paint.

If I could vote twice, I'll go with 12 and then 5.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I change my vote. Im going with 18.

    ReplyDelete
  38. OMG 18 is way too much above the others

    ReplyDelete
  39. Design 18 is truly the best one... hands down

    ReplyDelete
  40. 18 all the way! (:

    ReplyDelete
  41. No! Please 18 is so not nice! Why will anyone choose that? Sorry if I had offended the artist.

    ReplyDelete
  42. 13! Its the best, if he's choosen i'll buy it! Some others are also good but this one is the best. :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. I like 18. It's the only one I'd actually buy and use regularly.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I vote for every one 400,000 times!

    ReplyDelete
  45. 12 is the best! Awesome !

    ReplyDelete
  46. I voted for 14 because I like it and think it has a good chance of passing copyright.
If I don't think about copyright, I actually like 13 with the larger text best.
If I am stricter about copyright I like number 14 best. I'd like it even more if the shadows across the bottom were pokémon shaped...

    ReplyDelete

    1. On stricter copyright I actually meant to say I like 15 best.

  47. I feel like 13 with larger text would be the best, but feel like 18 is the most "thedeckout" playmat.

If 13 had an N graphic in place of the yellow flash thing, that would be awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I Like 6, it looks retro and cool!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I almost feel like #18 is a must for this site.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Why isn't 19 up for voting.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Omg why is 13 being voted so much. I won't buy it if it's that horrible...

    ReplyDelete
  52. I think a QR code that leads to the website would be really neat. That said, 13, 15 and 18 are by far the best (no offense to the others)

  53. Design 18 is fantastic. Simple, subtle and gets the point across. Hoping it gets chosen.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I voted for 8 because 18 wasn't on the poll. One of these two should clearly win!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. 13 with SMALLER text.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Yeah, 18 for sure. Very pleasing to the eye, and to my knowledge represents the page well.
